Discover the power
of pure meditation

The modern world we live in races forward at an astonishing pace. Thousands of tasks, thoughts, and emotions flood us at every turn – some arriving at the command of our will, while others emerge automatically, unconsciously, from nowhere.

In this chaos, it is hard to find space for ourselves, for the mind is constantly occupied. Every moment is dominated by thoughts that race as if life itself were an endless race. Yet true freedom does not come from this rush, but from the moment we pause, quiet the mind, and allow ourselves to simply be, here and now.

In this silence, in this space, prakriti—our primordial nature—emerges, untainted by the noise of everyday life. The pure meditation I offer is an original practice deeply rooted in the classical tradition of Patanjali’s yoga. This yoga is not merely a physical practice, but a path leading to the union of body, mind, and spirit, to the discovery of atman—our true essence.

The practice I propose is based on the eight-limbed path of yoga, but we focus on five stages that lead to profound transformation and full control over the mind. Each of these stages serves as a foundation on the path to inner harmony and self-understanding.

Asana – working with the body – we begin by freeing the body, creating space for prana (life energy) to flow freely. This is the foundation that prepares us for deeper work with the mind, while bringing harmony to the body.
Pranayama – expanding prana – breathing techniques that teach us to manage life energy. Through breath, we access higher levels of energy that bring harmony and calm to our minds. Breath becomes the vehicle for consciousness, enabling access to samadhi—the state of complete oneness with the universe.
Observation and Distance – the most crucial stage in working with the mind. Getting to know yourself, your thoughts, and emotions, while understanding the higher Self. We gain the space to choose our responses, allowing us to transcend automatic patterns and mechanisms. We begin to realize that we are not our thoughts, and the mind becomes a tool, not the master.
Dharana – concentration – the training of the mind to focus attention on a single point. Only through concentration can we create the inner coherence necessary to enter deeper meditation.
Dhyana – meditation – full control over the mind. It is the state where we are aware of every thought, but we do not let it control us. Meditation is the state where the mind becomes a tool for experiencing deep peace, serenity, and balance.

This five-step path leads you to complete transformation—from chaos to peace, from unconsciousness to full self-awareness. Start this journey with me, and over time, you will begin to notice how your mind and life change for the better, as you become the conscious creator of your own reality.

In my Pure Meditation path, I consciously omit the first two limbs of the classical eight-limbed yoga, which I describe here. Personally, I follow these “guidelines,” but I understand that you may have your own, individual approach to life and may not wish to adhere to the “commandments” of classical yoga. However, I do encourage you to familiarize yourself with them, as they provide a solid foundation on the path to self-realization.

I also skip the stage of withdrawing the senses. This practice requires long-term training, and I describe selected exercises in my e-book, Pure Meditation. From my own experience, as well as working with many of my students, I know that you can master the art of controlling the mind and reach your full potential without necessarily going through this advanced stage.

And finally, I omit Samadhi. For a long time, I included it as the final stage of Pure Meditation. However, I now believe that, for the vast majority, including you, the most important goal is mastering the mind, taking full control over it, and permanently freeing yourself from unnecessary thoughts and emotions. When you achieve this, you will become the conscious creator of your life, and the mind will become a tool that serves you, rather than controlling you.

On the path I have prepared for you, I have included the stage of understanding the mind. Observation and Distance is the time when you try to understand what the mind is, how it functions, and how to stop being affected by everything that arises within it.

When you stop reacting to every disturbance, even the smallest one, that arises in your mind, it will begin to create fewer disturbances. This is when you will begin the wonderful stage of taking full control over it.

Once you achieve this balance, life will flow effortlessly, and you will find space for true peace, joy, and love – all of which are already within you, and only you can nourish them. This is the inner energy that you must protect and cultivate. Do not give anyone, except yourself, the right to influence what is inside you. Only you have the power to guide your life and shape your reality.
